Larry June is from San Francisco and is one of my favorite people to listen to, especially when I’m on a run. He’s the only guy that’s cool enough to promote a healthy lifestyle without it being corny/lame.

WARNING: As always you know the drill, get your drank, headphones, your smokes or whatever your vice is let’s go through an experience.

First think we’ll take a look at is a tiny desk concert, just so you get a feel for Larry and his talents. I think live concerts are always a good way to get a solid understanding of some rappers.

First song we’ll take a look at is ‘Organic Dreams’, let’s get it.

This song is about the hustle so I know you all respect it. I had to kick it off with this to set the tone. Larry is telling you about his story, how he was desperate but came up.

Now let’s get into something smooth, ocean sounds.

The thing about Larry June’s music is there’s not much to explain, it’s just pure chill. That being said, let’s move on to the next song.

This is the type of song you put on when you pull out your driveway, windows down just to let the neighbors know whos “him”. We’re going to stay on the hustle type music with ‘Organic work’.

Exactly, this song makes me want to put in 16 hours, I can’t lie. But enough of that let’s go back to the smooth stuff, I’m sipping some whiskey as I write this I can’t spoil it with too much hustle.

You gotta love Larry’s taste in cars, Grand Nash, F8 Ferrari. We’re going to say on the smooth music with ‘Iced Coffee’.
